being stuck in the darkness, releasing new energy, breaking free, enlightenment and being reborn. in “NOIR” we enter the world of a healing ceremony to liberate yseult. with this video, dutch director judith veenendaal has aimed to express in visual way what it is to be prisoner of one’s own mind – and what it is to overcome its fears.
the music video is directed by judith veenendaal in collaboration with choreopherer shay latukolan. we had the pleasure to work again with judith , who’s previous work has been widely acclaimed and earned a vimeo’s staff pick, a young director award at cannes in 2017 and a creative circle award 2019 for best up and coming female commercial director.
